Jesus died for our sins. It is a gift. We do not have to run an obstacle course or jump through hoops. All that is required from us is to believe. (Romans 10:9,10 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead thou shalt be saved.)
I have been thinking a lot lately about the many times that God has healed me. A few of those times I have medical test that prove that I was healed. At one time in my life I had mitral-valve prolapse, enlarged heart and hypertension. I took nitroglycerine and atenolol. During this time my heart would start racing like I had been running and I would get very sleepy and tired and have to lie down to rest. I would go into a very deep sleep and when I would wake up my heart rate would be back to normal and I would be very weak. I thatnked God for his many blessings and thought about the previous times that he had healed me. I sang praises to him. And I thought about his promises to us and I asked him to heal me in the name of Jesus Christ. And from that moment on every day and night I praised him and thanked him for healing me in the name of Jesus. He completely healed my heart. Praise God my heavenly father and creator, my heart is completely normal and has been since 2007.
I had arthritis in my spine. Praise God, I was healed from arthritis and x-rays now show that there is not any arthritis in my spine. I had a bone spur on my cervical spine under the metal plate that is attached to my cervical spine. Praise God, I was healed from that bone spur and have an MRI to prove it. There have been other times that I have been healed that I can not prove but you have my read that God has healed me several times throughout my life.
God loves us so completely and perfectly. There is no denying his love and sacrifice for us. (John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Whatever your request, whether it is forgiveness of sin or disease or financial problems; talk to God. Jesus tells us that he is our friend. He gave his life for us because he loved us. God knew us before he created us in our mother's womb. God made a way for us to be washed clean from our sin and to be born again of his seed. (Philippians 4:6-9 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.)
In all things praise God!
