Right Relationship with God
Day 1
Who is God? What does it mean to have a relationship with him? How is it possible to have a relationship with God? What does he want from us? Rather than see our heavenly father as perfect and out of reach let's look at God according to 'Why he created mankind.'
God created us to have a relationship with him. It is his desire to be close and to have a unique, one-on-one relationship with each one of us. He knew us before we were created in our mothers womb. He predestined us to receive salvation and to have eternal life. He is a God of love. He is a God of infinite chances. He doesn't expect us to 'get it right' right away and he never expects us to be perfect. He judge's us according to our heart's; who we want to be, how we want to live, how we want to serve him, how hard we TRY to 'get it right.'
Do not limit God with your present view of him. Open your mind and heart to finding out who he really is and what his heart is for you. This week I am going to post the answers to these questions and show you how you can have a close relationship with God right now and how very much God loves you right where you are right now. Life is a journey. We don't reach our destination until Jesus comes back to get his brothers and sisters, joint heirs to the throne.
